StellarGrid Energy is seeking a highly experienced Nuclear Engineer to join our strategic infrastructure team under a managed services contract. The successful candidate will lead system reliability assessments and risk modeling for hybrid nuclear-renewable integration within our smart grid initiative.
π Responsibilities:

Lead assessment and modeling of nuclear subsystems for smart grid compatibility

Design safety protocols and perform compliance validation with EU nuclear regulations

Analyze long-term load balancing scenarios involving fission-based energy inputs

Provide on-call technical oversight for core diagnostics, system upgrades, and failure simulations

Deliver monthly reporting and recommendations to grid leadership and safety teams

Collaborate with cybersecurity and AI forecasting units to ensure resilience
π Required Qualifications:

Masterβs or PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, or related field

10+ years of proven experience in operational nuclear systems and safety analysis

In-depth understanding of reactor thermodynamics, system shielding, and grid integration

Familiarity with EU and IAEA regulatory frameworks

Experience with simulation tools (e.g., RELAP5, MCNP, TRAC) and failure prediction models

Strong written communication skills for compliance and risk documentation

German language fluency preferred; English required
